Every period has its pros and cons. July to October are the best for water activities like snorkeling or diving. Summer is turtle nesting season. But days can be hot and rainy days intense. Winter is fresher but some days can be windy. Spring is flamingo and birds season. Months of April May and June can be extremely hot. My personal favorite are October/November and February/March.
Rates are in Mexican pesos: per night it is 1000 pesos per room with private bedroom, and 900 pesos for the green room. There is a cumulative discount of 150 pesos per day for each complete week. Please contact us directly for availability.
Check-in time is 2 pm, check out noon. We can sometimes be flexible with the check-ins, let us know in advanced you planned schedule.
Summer clothes, sun protection (such as hat, long sleeves), beach items, something warm if you come in winter. Basic items can be found in Sisal. Anything you find abroad can be found in Merida.
The maximum per room is 4. You can use our air mattress or hamacas.
To get to Sisal, we can send you a private transportation from Merida to the house. The cost should be under 1000 pesos. You can also use the Uber app (limited availability). There are coach buses twice a day from Merida to Sisal called Oriente. The cheapest option is the local transportation called Combis which goes from Merida to Hunucma, and then from Hunucma to Sisal. When you get to Sisal bus terminal you can walk 10 minutes or use a mototaxi service.
some dates are more in demand (day of the dead, February, etc) and get booked months in advance. For the rest, we recommend you book a few weeks in advance.
